Fribimat AS-400
Anywhere where the friability of a granules, spheroids or mini tablets needs to be assessed. Any product that is too small to be tested with a conventional friability tester, but its robustness against mechanical impact needs to be verified, is a potential candidate for the Friabimat. The published method in EP (chapter 2.9.41) is aimed to generate the necessary abrasive force required to define the quantifiable friability characteristic of these types of product forms.
